The _Meeting Planner_ will be:
- Responsible for planning all client event requirements (site selection, vendor contract negotiation, execution, savings generation, budgeting, invoice and data collection and onsite coordination.
Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with hotel partners and strong industry knowledge of new venues and services within their geographical location.- Understand and able to communicate SOPs and policies to client.
Reports directly to M&E Team Leader.
College Graduate (preferably with HRM/Tourism background)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in events related field.
Well versed in the event management industry and has good knowledge on local destinations, hotels, and event suppliers.- Customer Service Oriented
Assertive / Strong negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage
Familiarity with MICE travel flow of work- Experience working with Pharma/doctor clients and hotel handling various types of events is
an advantage
