Principal Functions and Responsibilities Maintenance of all Laboratory Equipment
- Ensure timely and proper collection, transporting and storage of samples.
Monitor refrigerator used for laboratory & drug test use, daily monitoring of temperature.- Report any laboratory equipment problem to the Chief Medical Technologist.
Perform the investigations following SOP of laboratory procedures & drug testing- Validates all laboratory test results against standards and conduct necessary confirmatory tests.
Maintain efficient Turn-around Time of reports.
- Conduct drug testing results and prepare the necessary documents for confirmatory drug testing and coordinate with the confirmatory lab
Proper maintenance of documents and records of drug testing department
- Maintain confidentiality of patients files.
Record test results, test procedures, or inspection data.- Maintain the log books, temperature sheets etc.
Establish up to date monthly census of all drug test being done.
- Verifies the completeness of CCF.
Maintain the availability of drug test kits.- Responsible in drug test kit validation with DOH Adherence to standard procedures
Ensure all investigations are performed following the SOP of clinical laboratory and drug test.
- Ensure maintenance of safe waste disposal procedure and all other standard protocols.
Performs and reviews quality controls in testing, decides if results are within acceptable ranges, research problems and correct the same and report to the Chief Medical Technologist for final approval .- Responsible for EQAS program of drug test.
Be prepared to shoulder other suitable and relevant responsibilities when required.
Registered Medical Technologist (RMT), Certified Drug test Analyst (DTA)- At least 6 months experience as RMT/DTA
Amenable to work at Epza Rosario, Cavite branch
- Schedule Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
Can start ASAP.
