esponsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of medical coders, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and providing feedback.
Ensure coding practices adhere to relevant coding guidelines, regulations, and standards, such as ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology).- Implement quality assurance measures to identify and address coding errors, discrepancies, and trends.
Develop and maintain coding performance metrics to track productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
- Develop and update coding policies, procedures, and documentation guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Primary requirement: 2 years of Managerial/Team Lead experience (must be related to Medical Coding)
Preferably with Medical Coding Experience/Certified Medical Coder and Strong Leadership Experience handling Medical Coding Team/LOBs- Even without medical coding certification but with at least 2 years Managerial/Team Lead experience
Must have at least INTERMEDIATE in MS Office.
