Buyer Specialist- Plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the purchasing process for an organization. They are responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services to meet the company's operational needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance with policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:_
- Sourcing and Supplier Management
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service. Negotiate terms and conditions, prices, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.
- Purchase Order Management
Create, review, and approve purchase orders in accordance with procurement policies and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor and track order status, delivery timelines, and supplier performance to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Cost Analysis and Budgeting
Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends in pricing.
- Develop and manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and spending reports.
Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and agreements to protect the organization's interests and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, expiration dates, and renewal opportunities.
- Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks and issues to safeguard organizational assets and reputation.
- Stakeholder Communication
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including departments such as finance, operations, and inventory management, to align procurement activities with organizational goals and priorities.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to maintain positive relationships and resolve any issues or disputes.

Qualifications:_
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management is preferred.- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software/tools.
