Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing and Collections person with a strong background in medical billing and collections to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing and collections using US-based EMR systems, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and have a good command of the English language.
Medical Billing and Collections:
Perform the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely claim submission.
- Analyze and resolve billing errors, denials, and rejections.
Monitor accounts receivable and implement effective collection strategies.- Work closely under the supervision of the billing and collections manager to optimize revenue cycle processes.
Adhere to all relevant medical accounting and billing regulations.- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy laws.
Minimum of two years of experience in medical billing and collections.- Proven proficiency in US-based EMR systems
- Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of various insurance payers and reimbursement methodologies.
