We are currently offering the opportunity to be a part of our
Medical Billing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data related to patient payments, billing, and insurance claims. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and efficient processing of payments and claims.
Post patient payments: Accurately enter and record patient payments received via various payment methods.
- Pull and post credit card payments: Retrieve credit card payment information and enter it into the billing system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Follow-Up: Follow up on unpaid claims with parties or payers.- Answer phone/billing questions: Provide prompt and professional assistance to patients and insurance providers regarding billing inquiries, payment discrepancies, and insurance coverage-related questions.
Call insurance companies to check claims status: Communicate with insurance companies to verify the receipt and processing status of claims, ensuring prompt resolution and payment.
- Billing Data Submission: Submit billing data to insurance providers for processing, leveraging tools like Prompt for efficiency.
EOB and Remittance Analysis: Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and remittances for further action, ensuring accurate reconciliation.- Handle charge entries and account receivables.
- Ideal candidates must have:
1-2 years experience in revenue cycle management (medical billing).- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred).
Previous experience in medical billing or data entry is preferred.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including billing, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and revenue cycle management systems (RCM).
Familiarity with medical coding and terminology (ICD-10, CPT) is a plus.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective English communication skills and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information.- Has experience in call handling (Inbound and Outbound calls).
Knowledge of insurance guidelines and claim processing procedures.
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management.
Must be willing to work in Alabang.
