Job Description

The Medical Administrator will be responsible for administrative tasks related to
managing patient records, data entry, and performing various other administrative tasks to support the
company's operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of medications and their uses for
different conditions, ensuring accurate and compliant management of health data.

  • Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to patient information, prescriptions, and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with Australian health data regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling, communications, and reporting.
Collaborate with the medical team to support patient care and treatment processes where needed.
  • Utilise knowledge of medications and their uses to accurately document and manage patient information.
Provide support in improving and streamlining administrative processes.
  • Job Outline:

Patients sign up to our online platform, with all details registered in our software.
  • These are patients who have doctor appointments scheduled in future.
The details of these patients (i.e. full name, DOB, address, Medicare, other) will need to be entered
into another software application called Medirecords, used by doctors for prescribing prior to the patient having their consultation booked in the following day.
  • For each patient, a medical history check (My Health Record) will need to be carried out using a
function on Medirecords, which will provide an overview of the patient's medical history i.e. what
medications they have been prescribed in the past, or are currently prescribed.
  • This data will then need to be entered into the respective patients profile in an agreed format on our
custom built software in a Patient Notes section
  • There will be access to our medical team for any necessary communications relevant to the role and
its fulfilment
  • Qualifications:
Proven experience in medical administration, preferably in a telehealth or medicinal
setting.
  • Strong understanding of medications and their uses for various medical conditions.
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Australian health data regulations and compliance requirements
Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other administrative software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Experience working with offshore service providers

Education and Experience:
  • degree or certification in nursing or medical administration, health information management, or a
related field is preferred.
  • Sufficient knowledge of medications and applications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30,
  • 00 - Php40,000.00 per month
