Key Responsibilities:- Design Support: Assist senior engineers in the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into overall construction plans and ensure seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.Installation Oversight:
Support the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, including conducting site visits, supervising contractors, and ensuring that installations meet quality standards and safety regulations.Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness for construction and regulatory purposes.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct tests and inspections on mechanical systems to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective measures as needed to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Cost Estimation:
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for mechanical systems, including materials, labor, and equipment, to support project planning and procurement activities.Compliance and Regulations:
Stay up-to-date with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to mechanical engineering in construction, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.- Professional license or eligibility to become a licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Philippines.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Prior experience in construction or building services engineering is desirable but not required for entry-level positions.
