Job description Collaborate with architects, designers, and other construction professionals to understand project requirements.
- Coordinate with MEPF subcontractors to ensure the timely and accurate installation of systems.
Review and ensure that MEPF installations adhere to design specifications, codes, and industry standards.- Work closely with design teams to address any discrepancies or modifications required during construction.
Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on-site.
- Ensure that installations meet quality and safety standards.
Oversee the testing and commissioning of MEPF systems to ensure functionality and performance.- Address any issues identified during testing and commissioning processes.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures for MEPF installations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any defects or deviations from standards.
Collaborate with the project management team to monitor and control MEPF-related costs.- Ensure that MEPF activities align with the overall project schedule.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to MEPF installations.
- Prepare reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings as required.
Liaise with various project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.- Address and resolve technical issues and concerns raised by project team members.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Proven experience in MEPF engineering and construction.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong project management and organizational skills.- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
