A leading company supplying water and wastewater systems in Makati is looking to fill a Mechanical Design Engineer position. This engineer is responsible for designing equipment, components, auxiliary systems, and other systems related to the projects, particularly in water, wastewater, chemical, industrial, and ultrapure water treatment unit operations such as mechanics, pump systems, fluid dynamics, strength of materials, HVAC, firefighting systems, hydraulic systems, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering design experience in water, wastewater, power, oil & gas, and chemical process industries
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Post-grad attainment is an advantage
Strong understanding of standards and codes, design, operation, testing and commissioning, maintenance, rehabilitation of, and tools related to industrial systems
Strong orientation in recognized design codes, Occupational Safety and Health standards, and HAZOP
Effective People and Stakeholder Management skills, Personal productivity, and project management skills
Able to travel to project sites within the company's business territories on relatively short notice as required
