Responsibilities
Ensure that data processing is performed according to the processes and instructions set out by the MD manager (timely, complete, valid, and accurate)
Responsible for entering the new master data record in the (source & target) system(s) based on approved requests by the MD Requestor (and in case of critical changes by the MD Expert / MD Business Process Owner)
Responsible for coordinating group & entity master data change activities
Change existing master records based on the approved change request from the MD Requestor
Inform the change requestor on the status of the request
Responsible for ensuring that other impacted master data and transaction data are consistent over all relevant systems
Responsible for updating relevant business transactions that are impacted by the change
Responsible for reviewing master data after entry to ensure accuracy and compliance with the change request
Responsible for informing the relevant parties after a change has been processed in the system
Archiving change requests after the changes have been processed
Evaluating change requests, and requesting support from experts if required
Logging and closing MD incidents
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in any Finance, Business, or Information Technology course
At least 2 years of work experience in Master Data Management
Good analytical and communication skills
Knowledge of using ERP Systems. Applicants with two years of SAP experience are desired
Flexible in work-shifting schedules
Competencies
An MD Administrator is someone who has an operational role within the organization, and who is able to successfully process MD changes in the system.
Should have an affinity with master data management which implies an orderly and structured way of working/characteristics
Should be updated on all rules and regulations that apply to a certain MD object
