Everest International Academy, a Catholic international school in Bonifacio Global City, is looking for an Upper School Mathematics Teacher to be responsible for the mathematics formation of middle to high school students.

Responsibilities

The Mathematics Teacher at Everest Academy Manila forms students in essential aspects of the human person, particularly their intellectual development, while maintaining an effective learning environment that encourages dedication for work and love for learning. (S)he assimilates and fully practices the ideals, principles, and teaching methodology of the worldwide Regnum Christi schools. This position will be assigned in the Upper School unit, namely, 6th graders and up.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Education, major in Mathematics, or Bachelor/Master of Science in Mathematics;
• Must be a LET holder or currently working on teaching licensure;
• Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience, which preferably includes AP or IB course implementation;
• Some computer programming skills preferred;
• High English speaking and writing proficiencies;
• Familiar with 21st century learning, transfer learning, and developmentally-appropriate educational paradigms;
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
• Experienced in situation-based IRL problem-solving;
• Must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
