General Description
Handle the validation, creation, update, reactivation and/or deactivation of parts master data in IFS ERP system.
Responsibility
- Process parts master data requests in IFS ERP system. Transaction includes validating the information and understanding the current business process.
- Proactive preparation and cleansing of parts data including de-duplication and standardization
- Provide aid and regular monitoring of the parts data to ensure that correctness, consistency, completeness and accuracy are in place
- Provide support to the organization in questions related to the data
Specific Duties:
Part Request Handling
- Participate in processing requests for new parts/materials
- Participate in processing data change requests
Parts Data Maintenance
- Work closely with the MDM Data Analyst to maintain high quality of data being consumed by end users
- Act as data custodian in eliminating and mitigating process risks
Parts Catalogue Management
- Assist internal stakeholders such as Category Managers and Data Management team to onboard correct content in Fixed Price Agreements in IFS ERP system
- Perform data validation and preparation of Fixed Price Agreement or Catalogue Load Template
- Data migration of Fixed Price Agreement to IFS ERP system
Parts Site-Move Support
- Provide assistance in every site-move activity
- Ensure that actions needed are well taken care of for pre and post site-moves
Parts Knowledge Management
- Provide assistance in documentation of all Parts processes including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), process workflows and other related information
Parts Adhoc Support
- Engage in any data cleansing activity initiated by the MDM Data Analyst and Stakeholders
- Ensure provision of any adhoc reports and completion of projects being requested by Stakeholders
- Provide support in any adhoc related activities related to the parts master data

Competency:
Material Data Management
- This position requires experience with implementation of ERP project in terms of preparing and cleansing material/parts data
- Experience with implementing best practice methods such as Noun modifier mappings in a global company is essential
- Knowledge in serialization/deserialization, chemicals, repairs and other related processes is a plus
Interpersonal skills
- Participate in Data Governance Forum wherein topics about processes whether for new or improvement, data clean-up, standardization and governance are being discussed.
- Good communication skills in English and ability to listen and understand users/requestors are essential.
- A sense of urgency must be maintained without sacrificing quality and validation of our work.
Other competencies
- At least 3-5 years of experience in master data maintenance preferable within parts/material management
- A graduate of IT/Engineering or any related course
- Experience in working with/in ERP systems such as SAP/IFS
- Experience in understanding, supporting and troubleshooting general master data issues
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholders management skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- SQL skills is highly desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Powerpoint and other MS related applications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
