Fabricates, alters, repairs, and maintains walls, sidewalks, floors, manholes, and others related structures, or surfaces.- Prepares surfaces prior to beginning work.
Lays blocks or bricks following blueprints, plans, or drawing.
- Identifies damage and then carries out repairs.
Determines work requirements and sequence of masonry assignments through review of work orders, plans, or drawings.- Mixes cement using hoes, cement mixing equipment, and/or hand tools.
Lay outs work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, square, and levels.
- Estimates and materials cost.
Completes all duties according to applicable safety measures and published procedures.- Maintains a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
At least two (2) years of total experience, related in this field.- High School Graduate or Vocational Course.
