Job Summary:
A marketing specialist is responsible for executing marketing campaigns across relevant touchpoints online, offline, and on-ground towards an objectivewhether for awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, referral, or revenue.
The marketing specialist will help in the overall marketing efforts of Summit Media brands. You will be an integral part of the execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to the promotion of Summit Media websites, content, and events.
A marketing specialist should be a competent professional who can grasp audience behavior trends, and generate and execute creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles, and tactics.
The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in brainstorms and help develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Assist in marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning, etc.)
- Liaise with external partners to execute promotional events and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
- Help plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, display ads, etc.)
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (reach, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
- Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
- Help grow and maintain a list of media contacts for publicity projects
- Nurture relationships with media contacts for publicity projects
Qualifications:
- College graduate
- At least one (1) year of marketing work experience, preferably for a brand or a media company, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience with product launches or integrated marketing campaigns, and events
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in planning and executing initiatives
- Excellent organization, communication, and writing skills
- Positive team player and can work well with various individuals; enthusiastic work attitude
- Able to work outside standard working hours (occasional evenings and weekends) for events
