The purpose of this position is provide a center of excellence for proposal development and production
with a focus of supporting the businesses in the winning of work by providing coordination, editing,
writing, formatting, graphics, desktop publishing, presentations, production, and systems to support the
Business Lines sales and marketing, functional, and corporate requirements.
This role typically has Marketing Services coordination responsibilities and indirect reporting
relationships with Marketing Services Specialists, Marketing Technicians and/or Web Designers/Artists.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and coordinate the development process of proposals, qualifications, client
presentations, internal publications, and multimedia marketing collateral designed to help
maintain a favorable company image and attain specific marketing objectives working with
other Marketing Services Specialists
Assist to determine the scope of work, develop compliance checklists, set a production
schedule, coordinate level of services and resources, and track any special requirements
necessary to get the job done (this may include coordinating ancillary projects that include
multimedia and graphic projects) by the established deadline
Work directly with the proposal manager and/or business line sales to produce proposals that
fully reflect the client requirements and needs
Participate in the kickoff meeting, proposal reviews, and proposal-planning meetings
During proposal development, organize the process for collecting author input and ensure that
all standards are met, including format consistency within the proposal collateral
Provide editorial and coordination services, as required, to produce responsive, clear,
consistent, and readable qualifications documents, proposals, presentations, and reports
Serve as Marketing Services primary point of contact for a development effort
Perform final compliance check, coordinate proposal production and assembly, and confirm
delivery of final product to the client
Coordinate marketing activities among corporate headquarters, business lines, Marketing
Services offices, and other functional groups
Inform management of significant activities with regard to ongoing projects
Provide current marketing information for use by management and line sales
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying
complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely
manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
May need to travel to attend to business related matters
Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality

Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and no previous
years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience
equal to four (4) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different
qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to
management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national
statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to project worksites and
vendor/client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and

Preferred Qualifications
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent or work experience in English, marketing,
communications, or business preferred
Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to lead are a must
Strong writing and editing skills
Able to organize, expedite, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Keen sense of attention to detail
Able to handle stress, work with high energy, and work beyond the normal work hours, as
needed, with little to no advance notice
Able to accommodate a flexible schedule; willing and able to adapt to the demands of a high-paced corporate environment
Able to manage others and work with minimal supervision
Capable of applying marketing principles to Fluor's business activities
