Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Officer to join our team. The Marketing Officer will play a key role in supporting the marketing efforts of our stores, as well as assisting with various store-related tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our brand in the dynamic sports retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Coordination:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote store events, product launches, and promotions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials, including signage, flyers, and digital assets.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and maintain social media accounts for Sun Battledore mall stores, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
- Monitor social media trends and provide recommendations for optimizing social media presence and engagement.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Assist in planning and organizing store events, including athlete appearances, product demonstrations, and community outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
Visual Merchandising Support:
- Collaborate with store managers to ensure consistent and visually appealing store layouts and displays.
- Assist in implementing merchandising guidelines and promotional displays to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
Customer Engagement and Loyalty Programs:
- Support the development and implementation of customer engagement initiatives, including loyalty programs, email marketing campaigns, and customer feedback initiatives.
- Monitor customer feedback channels and assist in addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Prior experience in marketing, preferably in the retail or sports industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
- Enthusiasm for sports and a passion for the retail industry.
- Familiarity in badminton brands such as Yonex and Li-Ning is an advantage.
- Connections with badminton coaches and courts are a huge advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Amenable to work in Paraaque City, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm.
