Primary Purpose of the Position
Plan and oversee the organization's marketing activities and campaigns. Develop communication strategies and materials in all platforms (physical and digital) in order to build brand/company equity and strong presence in all industries that Chemlux is present.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies.
- Support the Sales and Marketing Manager in overseeing the department's operations
- Organize, attend marketing activities or events and join industry associationsto raise brand/company awareness.
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
- Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company's presence.
- See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics.
- Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
- Collaborate with managers in identifying business opportunities, preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
Requirement and Qualifications
- Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
- Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach
- Must have great enthusiasm for all things marketing andgreat knowledge of relevant techniques and principles. Experience in B2B industry is a plus.
- Graduate of Marketing/Economics or any business-related course
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing and sales functions
- Experience in handling marketing campaigns, particularly online platforms
- Above par market orientation/business skills including excellent oral and written communication skills
- Can work with minimal supervision, with strong analytical and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications is a must
