JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall direction and execution of Capital. S/he will direct the creation and implementation of marketing plans, develop an engaging consumer experience, determine preferred store locations, and achieve sales targets. The Marketing Manager conducts market research to come up with efficient and effective brand strategies. S/he collaborates with Merchandising to come up with compelling product stories that resonate with the target market.
DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. BRAND MANAGEMENT
Develops brand strategy, including the setting of voice, guidelines, vision, and value proposition
Plans and executes all communications and media actions on all channels, including online, social media and brick and mortar operations
Comes up with seasonal campaigns
Champions store experience execution via visual merchandising and marketing communications
Assists with product development, pricing, and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities
Directs and manages promotional collaterals to establish and maintain product branding
Manages the budget for advertising and promotional items
Conducts competitor and customer insights analysis
Analyzes sales data relative to marketing efforts made
Liaises with brand partners to create campaigns and give marketplace feedback
2. DIGITAL MARKETING
Oversees the development of e- marketing content and exploration of sales channels
Designs, builds, and maintains a workable digital marketing strategy that encompasses social media platforms, paid ads, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
Reviews brand message regularly to ascertain integrity and consistency
Measures and reports the performance of digital marketing activities and compare the results against KPIs.
Analyzes data and identify opportunities to improve performance and optimize spend
Evaluates customer experience across multiple channels and touchpoints
Identifies emerging trends and technologies and provide perspective for adoption where appropriate
3. DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT
Collaborates with team members & provide guidance to the design and implementation of marketing campaigns
Works closely with other departments and third-party vendors to align campaign information and execution
Trains, monitors, coaches, and evaluates team members
Provides relevant information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities to team members.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (skills, knowledge, etc.):
1. Highly organized and able to multitask
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
3. Well-versed in social media and web analytics
4. Excellent communication and people skills
5. Creativity and commercial awareness
6. Capacity to inspire, coach, and lead team members

8. Extensive experience in creating marketing campaigns, strategies and plans and content marketing

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education &Training:
Bachelor's or master's degree in management, marketing, or a related field
Work Experience:
At least 3 years experience in Marketing positions (preferably in Retail Marketing or Brand Management)
Experience in managing multiple projects, including simultaneous task assignments
Exposure to interacting with senior management
Experience in managing a team of at least 5 people
Demonstrable experience in managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and social media advertising campaigns
