Job Description

Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the department's overall processes and transactions. The incumbent will also provide evocative innovations, enhancements, and ideas in terms of General Marketing strategies that will aid all related units of the company in achieving greater heights of increasing company revenue. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams including; Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Operations, to ensure excellent execution of plans, review and monitoring of targets, and identifying data-driven issues, and opportunities to develop short to long-term growth strategies and plans.

This role serves as a key player in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, across innovative and strategic core products, with a key focus on broadening and raising product and brand awareness, which ultimately leads to customer acquisition. Responsible for the overall consumer marketing strategies and activation plans that support business unit growth and profit objectives, driving demand for Biocostech Philippines Corporation and its products.
  • Top 5 Accountabilities:
  • A. Brand Marketing
Analyses financial reports and, use them in decision-making when developing and evaluating marketing activities for the category; recommends cross-functional initiatives/projects.
  • Develop business and marketing plans for assigned products (e.g., Skincare Line, Food Supplements, etc.), brands, or segments thereof, including in-store/sales promotions, activation programs, digital marketing initiatives, and pricing and other implementation strategies.
Participates in the development and implementation of communications materials involving assigned brands.
  • Coordinate with Product Development to qualify the product and package through various tests.
Craft promotion/pricing strategy and customer/distributor trade terms with the trade team.
  • Participates in the evaluation of promotions, activation, and PR/advertising associated with assigned brands or products; assesses success against approved plans.
Strengthen product through advertising and promotions, online marketing, trade marketing, and event management.
  • Develops and monitors A&P requirements for the brand assigned, assuring adherence to the approved budgets.
Analyses financial reports and uses them in decision-making when developing and evaluating marketing activities for the category; recommends cross-functional initiatives/projects.
  • Effectively and efficiently directs cross-functional project teams using PPM processes and methods.
Spearheaded the recruitment of targeted consumers and sellers including but not limited to Influencer/Ambassador management and became relevant through brand stories.
  • B. Market Research:
Gather and analyze customer and market insights, which entail consumer behavior and centric concepts, product consumption experience, and marketing best practices to generate successful brand activations and expand product portfolio aligned with consumer trends.
  • Develop brand and business-building insights founded on a holistic understanding of consumers across channels and categories to be used in combination with shopper and customer insights.
Uses research and other sources of information to synthesize and create insights that anticipate and react to consumer behaviors.
  • C. Product Marketing
Stay up to date with how the target market interacts with the company's current products to improve sustainability and attain possible ideas for improvement.
  • In charge of the strategic objective, consumer insight, competitive benchmark, pricing, claims and packaging guidelines, cost target, and overall profitability of new product development.
Ensures that the project roadmap and product line strategies are aligned with the company goals and market trends.
  • D. Trade Marketing
Responsible for increasing sales conversion through in-store point of sale and distributor engagement, as well as expanding the company's reach and penetration with trade partners.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
Collaborate with the sales department to develop strategic partnership activities.
  • In charge of developing and managing assigned budget for administration and marketing activities of the products. Responsible for maintaining all group expenses within the budget.
  • E. Digital Marketing
Spearheaded effective Digital Marketing efforts across Facebook, Instagram, Online Selling Platforms (Shopee, Lazada, etc.), Website marketing, and planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

  • Event Supervision - able to supervise events from conceptualization to actual implementation
  • Budget Management - able to plant and project costs as well as manage resources according to the approved budget
  • Critical Thinking - able to evaluate the proposal and sift through presented information to come up with the most efficient and viable solutions
  • Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Marketing/ or equivalent.
  • With at least five years of working knowledge and experience in the related field is required for the position.
Preferably FMCG Manager who is well-versed in general marketing with specialization and extensive experience in Trade and Online Marketing.
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication.
Experience in the SkinCare industry is an advantage.
  • Highly analytical, creative, organized, and possess a good leadership style.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Possesses a strong leadership skill to evaluate ongoing sales team performance and has experience with training management and providing coaching when necessary.
Advance analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales.
  • Strong in attention to detail and accuracy.
