The Marketing and Communications Associate will assist the Marketing and Communications Manager in establishing the Philippines as a premier destination for clinical trials and attracting international clients. S/he will gain valuable experience across various marketing functions, with a focus on content creation, social media management, and supporting event execution.
- Primary Responsibilities:
Assists with the creation of high-quality content for different channels, including website, social media, blog, and press releases.- Conducts research and gathers information to support content creation.
Manages and maintains the PiVOT social media presence, creating engaging and informative content.
- Supports SEO optimization efforts through Hubspot
Assists the Marketing and Communications Manager in planning, executing, and evaluating external and internal company events (PINNACLE, Philippines Premier Clinical Research Event)
- Supports relationship-building with key stakeholders at the event.
Assists with the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and social media content, ensuring brand consistency.
- Supports in maintaining and implementing brand guidelines.
- Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business Development Support:
Assists the Marketing and Communications Manager with research and preparation for industry events and conferences. (DIA, BioKorea, BioTaiwan)- Contributes to the development of presentations, proposals, and other marketing materials for specific client needs.
Provides administrative support to the Marketing and Communications Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing data.- Supports internal communications initiatives as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or any related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Marketing Fundamentals: Familiarity with key marketing concepts, channels, and best practices.
- Technology: Working knowledge of basic marketing tools and software (CRM, email marketing, social media scheduling, etc.).
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Content Creation: Ability to support the creation of marketing materials by researching, writing, and editing written and visual content.
- Social Media Management: Ability to manage PiVOT's social media presence, including creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and interacting with followers.
- Project Management: Ability to manage assigned tasks and projects to deadlines.
- Organization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills and software (MS Word, MS Excel, Canva, GSuite)
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn new concepts, tools, and industry trends.
- Initiative and Problem-solving: Ability to take initiative on assigned tasks and identify and solve problems independently.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and new work assignments.
Hybrid work arrangement with remote and office-based options. Be prepared for potential fieldwork within the Philippines for event management, client meetings, site visits, and coverage for conferences. International travel for conferences or client meetings may also be required on occasion.
