Position: Marketing & Admin Assistant
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (EST) | 9 PM - 5 AM (Philippine Time)
Salary Range: $1000-$1500 / Monthly
About The Role
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and creative Marketing Assistant to assist with managing and growing our content creation, video production, and marketing initiatives. You will help with core tasks such as generating newsletters, creating branded images, and producing video content.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Curation:
- Assist with generating daily newsletter content focused on our respective industries.
- Research and draft topics, articles, and posts based on the latest trends, ensuring they are engaging and SEO-friendly.
- Collaborate on writing scripts for video content related to data analytics tools like Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, etc.
- Curate images and graphics for videos and articles using tools like Canva, ensuring consistent branding.
- Video Production Support:
- Assist in organizing and managing the AI video production process.
- Help produce video series for educational content using platforms like Synthesia.io.
- Marketing Support:
- Assist in managing social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube) by posting, engaging with followers, and responding to comments.
- Monitor and analyze audience engagement metrics to suggest ways to optimize content strategy.
- Research:
- Research content
- Create and maintain an email list for subscribers, using tools like Mailchimp or ConvertKit to manage campaigns and newsletters.
- Admin Tasks
- Perform daily administrative tasks to support the overall workflow and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in the creation and formatting of presentation decks, ensuring high-quality visual and written content.
- Follow up on emails, manage inbox priorities, and ensure timely responses and organization.
- Organize and maintain digital content, files, and documents for easy access and retrieval.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Content Creator, or similar role (experience in data analytics or tech-related industries is a plus).
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
- Experience with content management tools such as Canva, Google Docs, and platforms like Medium or LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with video production platforms (e.g., Synthesia.io, YouTube) and video editing tools.
- Ability to conduct research on data science, SQL, and related topics.
- Strong understanding of social media management and engagement strategies.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proactive, creative mindset with a passion for helping to grow a brand in the data analytics space.
Preferred
- Experience in managing content on social media platforms
- Strong knowledge of the English language
- Proactive personality
- Familiarity with email marketing tools like Mailchimp or ConvertKit.
- Experience working with remote teams.
Device / Connectivity Requirements
- At least 50mbps internet speed
- Must have their own Permanent Work From Home Equipment like Laptop and Personal Computer with External Monitor.
