Qualification Standards:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication, or any degree relevant to the job
Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
Training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training
Skills: Very satisfactory command of the English language, both oral and written
Job Responsibilities:
- Public Relations/Communications
a. Assist in the development of strategic and social media plans aligned with the mandate, functions,
and services of CIC.
b. Develop and produce content to enhance the agency's online presence including but not limited to
press releases, advisories or announcements, and social media cards.
c. Assist with events and external engagements, both online and in-person.
d. Assist in liaising and relationship-building with media partners.
- Client Management/Marketing Support Activities
a. Undertake research on the latest market trends to support the communications and social media
plans of the agency.
b. Contribute to the achievement of the group's targets by providing support in financial education
webinars and technical training.
c. Develop and produce copies for marketing or advertising materials for financial literacy campaigns
and presentations.
d. Provide support in managing communications-related procurement projects.
- Customer Relationship/Public Assistance
a. Respond to public inquiries lodged via CIC Helpdesk and social media accounts.
b. Assist in collating issues and concerns and lead the resolution of the same with assistance from
other departments, if needed.
c. Assist in preparing reports and managing the database of public inquiries.
- Administrative Functions
a. Report directly to the Marketing Specialist (Web Administrator)
b. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Marketing Specialist, Information Officer V, or Senior Vice
President for Business Development and Communications
