Job Purpose Summary:
Trident Trust is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Market Data Administrator to join our Group funds team based in the Philippines.
The successful candidate will be responsible (along with others) for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of market data operations using industry-standard tools like PFS-Paxus and Bloomberg. This role plays a critical part in supporting our fund accounting and administration functions by maintaining high standards of data integrity and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities/Duties:
- Operational Excellence: Responsible, with others, for the smooth operation of the Market Data function servicing fund administration teams across the Group.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure that procedures and controls are rigorously followed to enable accurate market data information and to satisfy all market data-related ISAE 3402 / SOC1 requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare and review ISAE 3402 / SOC1 documentation, including market data tolerance checks and records for new or updated market data databases.
- Best Practices: Ensure operational best practice in accordance with ISAE 3402 and SOC 1 standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with management to improve controls and develop reporting.
- Project Management: Undertake specific projects as assigned from time to time.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Directors.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in market data management, preferably in a fund administration or financial services environment.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Experience with Bloomberg tools such as Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg Enterprise Solution, and Data License Per Security requests is an asset.
- Working knowledge of fund administration portfolio work, including different types of securities, pricing sources, exchanges, etc., and related fund administration software is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in PFS-Paxus, Bloomberg, and other relevant financial software.
- Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Has initiative and works independently with can do attitude.
