As a Travel Consultant, you must be able to perform travel management services and overseeing the day-to-day activities of a team of travel consultants, monitoring and building team performance, and motivating members to ensure the quality and quantity of work done by the team is effectively meeting the objectives of clients and the company but not limited to the following:
- Performs leadership tasks such as management of team responses and team collaborations.
Performs auditing of team's productivity to ensure no HX, churning and possible ADMs to occur.- Train and mentor newbies.
Support team in case of complex routes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, or similar field
Knowledged in Marine market and in Geography- Minimum three years of relevant experience
Superior working knowledge of travel operations and travel-industry trends, especially Marine travel.
- In-depth understanding of the major Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre) and travel software
Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills- Able to work independently and with a team.
Confident and with strong organizational skills to give the team direction.
