As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Marine Head.

• Position: Marine Head

• Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the marine department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of vessels under management.

• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize vessel performance, minimize risks, and achieve operational excellence.

Provide leadership and guidance to the marine team, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Manage and monitor vessel budgets, expenses, and operating costs, optimizing resources and ensuring financial efficiency.

Liaise with ship owners, charterers, port authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with international and domestic maritime regulations and industry standards.

• Collaborate with technical, crewing, and other departments to coordinate and support vessel operations, maintenance, and crew management activities.

Drive initiatives for fleet expansion, diversification, and business growth opportunities, contributing to the company's strategic objectives.

• Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or related field. Master Mariner certification preferred.

• Proven experience in senior management roles within the maritime industry, with a focus on ship management and operations.

In-depth knowledge of international and domestic maritime regulations, industry best practices, and safety standards.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and business acumen.

• Proficiency in relevant software and systems for marine operations and management.
