Job Role: A Mandarin Language Instructor teaches students Mandarin language. He/she plans and delivers a Mandarin teaching program which meets students learning needs and according to school curriculum and national standard to provide a high-quality educational experience for students.
Fluent/native speaker of Mandarin (and Fookien, if possible)
- Bachelor's degree in a foreign language specifically Mandarin
Have a broad knowledge of the Mandarin language and grammar- Competent, dedicated and highly-motivated Mandarin Teacher
Strong written and verbal communication in Mandarin and English languages
- Customer Service experience is a plus
Develops and maintains good working relationships with others- Recognizes different values and styles, and respects others unique characteristics or strengths
Acts confidently in uncertain circumstances; works effectively in ambiguous situations
- Demonstrates patience, and persistence
Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-centric attitude- Quick learner and willing to adapt to a dynamic working environment
Prepare lectures to deliver to students about basic principles of the Mandarin language- Teach students how to interpret foreign languages
Translate foreign languages into the students natural language to help them understand
- Teach students how to read, write, and understand Mandarin Language
