Full job description Act as a bridge between Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking individuals within the organization, facilitating effective communication and understanding.
- Provide translation and interpretation services during meetings, presentations, and written communications as needed.
Assist with the creation and translation of documents, reports, and correspondence between Mandarin and English.- Support Mandarin-speaking clients or customers through various communication channels, including email, phone, and in-person interactions.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive communication in both Mandarin and English.
- Conduct research and gather information in Mandarin and English to support business initiatives and projects.
Assist in organizing events, meetings, or training sessions involving Mandarin-speaking participants.- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information and communications in both languages.
Stay updated on industry trends, language nuances, and cultural developments to enhance communication effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Proven experience in translation, interpretation, or a related field is preferred.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish effective communication channels across language barriers.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with the ability to adapt communication styles to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in using translation tools and software is an advantage.- Bachelor's degree in languages, translation, communication, or a related field is preferred.
