We are seeking a Manager to lead our team of Virtual Assistants (VAs) and drive growth in reviews, revenue, occupancy, and profitability.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, data-driven Manager with a proven track record in the short-term rental or hospitality industry. The ideal candidate has previously managed teams in high-end properties (e.g., Four Seasons, Ritz, Marriott), excels in improving guest experience, and has experience driving marketing, sales, and operations. This individual must be highly organized, able to monitor and optimize team performance, and possess a deep understanding of Property Management Systems (PMS) and technology tools like Lodgify and Breezeway. AI and RankBreeze experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Lead and monitor a team of Virtual Assistants, ensuring they meet daily, weekly, and quarterly KPIs.
- Drive team efficiency and performance without the need for micromanagement.
Guest Experience and Reviews:
- Ensure guest satisfaction across platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com.
- Improve and maintain high review scores (4.8/5 on Airbnb, 4.7/5 on VRBO, and 9/10 on Booking.com).
Revenue, Occupancy, and Profitability:
- Manage pricing and revenue strategies to achieve a 10-15% year-over-year revenue growth.
- Increase occupancy rates by 10% within 6 months.
- Optimize operational costs to maintain a 20% profitability margin.
Sales, Marketing, and Operations:
- Oversee operations and implement marketing and sales initiatives to drive direct bookings and brand growth.
- Implement strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
Technology Proficiency:
- Utilize PMS tools like Lodgify and Breezeway for streamlined operations.
- Leverage AI and data-driven insights to manage daily tasks and improve guest communication.
- Familiarity with RankBreeze or other pricing optimization tools is preferred.
Performance Tracking:
- Set up and manage reports to track occupancy, reviews, and revenue.
- Continuously monitor and adjust strategies based on data to achieve business objectives.
- Initiative and Problem Solving:
- Take smart initiatives to solve problems independently, while knowing when to escalate or ask for guidance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years managing teams (5+ people) in 10+ short-term rentals or high-end hospitality (Four Seasons, Ritz, or Marriott experience preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills. Proven track record of improving reviews, revenue, and team performance.
- Technology: Proficient in using PMS systems (Lodgify, Breezeway), with experience in AI and RankBreeze being a plus.
- Work Style: Detail-oriented, capable of monitoring performance metrics closely, and able to take independent initiatives while knowing when to ask for assistance.
