Manager, Cybersecurity Champion

The Cybersecurity Champion Manager plays a critical role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and information systems. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on security best practices and collaborating across departments to strengthen our overall security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Security Consulting:
• Provide expert advice and guidance on security best practices to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide guidance to develop and implement a robust information security strategy and framework.
• Assisting the business units together cybersecurity pillars on training programs for employees to educate them on cybersecurity threats and best practices.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to integrate security considerations into business processes.

• Compliance & Regulations:
• Stay up-to-date on evolving cybersecurity threats and regulations (e.g., CIS, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Assist with compliance audits and assessments related to cybersecurity.
• Enhance security posture, policies and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices and regulations.

• Communication & Collaboration:
• Clearly communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work collaboratively with business unit's security into all aspects of the organization.
• Assist management to prepare reports on the organization's security posture for management review together with the Cybersecurity Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in information security or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with security risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Working knowledge of common security controls and technologies (e.g., firewalls, encryption).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with security awareness training development and delivery.
• Experience with security incident and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Certifications such as CISSP, GISC, CISA, GIAC, or Security+ (a plus).
