The Maintenance Technical Staff will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical systems within the building.
Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, elevators, and other building infrastructure.- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all mechanical equipment.
- Monitor and maintain records of maintenance activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- System Upgrades and Installation:
Assist in the installation of new mechanical systems and equipment.
- Work with external contractors and vendors to ensure installations and upgrades meet building standards and requirements.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Participate in after-hours emergency response as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on mechanical system performance and
maintenance activities.
- Qualifications and Competencies
Diploma or technical certificate in Automotive, Electronics and Electrical, Building Construction, Air Conditioning, or a related field.- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and elevators.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Availability to respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular working
hours.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Capability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Stamina to perform physical tasks over extended periods.- This position may require occasional evening or weekend availability to oversee special projects or address emergencies.
