Oversee plant equipment condition based on Plant Monthly Target Equipment Efficiency.
a. Conduct of timely repairs of all equipment with a high quality of workmanship.
b. Oversee, schedule and organize Mechanical maintenance activities including manpower requirement.
c. Timely response on mechanical requests, notifications and downtimes as requested by different sections.
d. Ensure all work jobs are completed within the shift.
Develop plans and programs to improve and sustain equipment's availability and reliability.
a. Conduct walk-by inspection in the production lines and proactively make adjustments on the equipment to avoid mechanical downtimes.
b. Coordinate with operations and bagging department for any maintenance repairs to be conducted.
c. Coordinate and ensure that the Preventive Maintenance are religiously conducting the preventive maintenance plan (Lubrication, walk by inspections, etc.).
d. Develop a maintenance plan for equipment repairs to ensure timely and high quality of workmanship.
e. Attend and join in Shift Turn-Over Meeting (STOM) to be conducted by the operations team.
Monitoring, Inspection and Evaluation of Maintenance performance
a. Monitor availability of equipment spares especially on critical equipment
b. Verify quality of equipment spares and in accordance to equipment specifications
c. Coordinate with Preventive Maintenance for equipment repairs done prior to turn over to operations.
d. Update Work Orders and ensure that all work orders that were done are closed and accepted.
e. Conduct of opportunity repairs and adjustments to avoid downtime.
f. Coordinate with operations for any abnormal status in the operation and make necessary online repairs and adjustments (sensor, interlocks etc.).
Observe, comply and ensure that all production personnel will observe Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) procedures.
a. Comply with OH&S rules and regulations.
b. Ensure 100% implementation of Housekeeping within the area of responsibility.
c. Ensure safe working procedures, practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed.
Embark on improvement undertakings.
a. Oversee and ensure proper documentation of manuals and reports for future reference.
b. Attend and join in the Root Cause Failure Analysis for any downtimes related to maintenance and ensure all issues and concerns are addressed.
c. Initiate and participate in relevant technical discussions/ presentations.
II. Job Specifications*
Education
- A graduate of Mechanical Engineering course.
Experience
- At least four (4) years of experience in Feed mill operation or any related manufacturing industry.
- At least five (5) years background on Maintenance and Equipment repairs
License/s Required
- Licensed Engineer is required.
