We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Staff member to join our team. The Maintenance Staff plays a critical role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, painting, and carpentry, to ensure the overall functionality and appearance of the facility.
- Equipment Inspection and Repair: Regularly inspect and maintain various equipment and machinery, identifying and addressing any issues promptly. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
- HVAC System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Perform routine checks, replace filters, and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Groundskeeping: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the exterior areas, including parking lots, sidewalks, and landscaping. Perform tasks such as snow removal, lawn care, and garbage disposal.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and participate in on-call rotations to address urgent issues outside of regular working hours.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing. Report to the supervisor on the status of ongoing maintenance projects.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in general maintenance work.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and tools.
Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry principles.- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
