- 1 To be able to integrate all levels of expertise as Maintenance Manager in realizing the responsibility of being the concrete support department for the Hotel, especially to the top management.
- 2 To ensure that the day-to-day operations of the hotel service utilities, machines and equipment are at its optimum working condition at all times.
- 3 To provide hotel guests, employees and stakeholders uninterrupted hotel facilities and utilities services.
- 4 To ensure hotel strategic plans are developed in the safety upkeep, detection, prevention and elimination of physical, chemical and/or other product hazards.
- 1.1 Responsible for managing all engineering repair, maintenance and safety activities
- 1.2 Oversees the new installation, construction and upkeep of the hotel's property, that is, all the MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection) machines, equipment, building and structure.
- 1.3 Monitors the plant room machines and equipment and ensure normal operations of the high voltage power supply transformers, capacitor banks, boilers, chillers, low voltage switch gears, emergency generator sets, water motor pump system, submersible pumps and fire motor pump system.
- 1.4 Ensures the maximum functionality of the air-conditioning system, heating and ventilation system, power supply system, water distribution system, waste water sewer system, fire detection and alarm system, fire protection system.
- 1.5 Designs, develops and establishes the Preventive Maintenance Activities and Schedules and make sure that these are implemented religiously, reviewed and updated.
- 1.6 Reviews and updates the PM Activities and Schedules to ensure that operations and safety manuals and standards, processes and procedures, including the required operations and safety forms and schedule
- 1.7 Ensure that the maintenance activities and procedures are documented and updated in accordance and in compliance with the ISO.
- 1.8 Keeps records of repair and maintenance works, activities and schedule for reference
- 1.9 Prepares and plans for the Engineering manning to ensure full coverage of the comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program
- 1.10 Ensure that all materials, tools, equipment, consumables and spare parts are ordered and delivered on time for Maintenance purposes
- 1.11 Conducts daily briefing of all engineering staff for update and feedback of the maintenance activities
- 1.12 Identify and recommends the needed trainings for the staff to effectively perform their respective duties and responsibilities
- 1.13 Ensures the efficient, safe and economic operations of the hotel utility and facilities services and support equipment, buildings and grounds structure are in optimum condition
- 1.14 Establishes a well-organized Engineering store, maintaining close control of the consumption of the materials and inventory control
- 1.15 Assist if necessary, materials and purchasing personnel in providing technical specifications and with sourcing of the correct parts
- 1.16 Prepares, reviews and approves the required Purchase Request involving technical services, installations, machineries, parts, materials, consumables, etc.
- 1.17 Attends and contributes to all meetings as required
- 1.18 Ensures and monitors all staff provide a courteous and professional services at all times.
- 1.19 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming of all staff.
- 1.20 Implements and applies all safety precautions and measures at all times to all the engineering staff and respective works.
- 1.21 Checks and inspects the workmanship of all the completed maintenance activities.
- 1.22 Conducts performance appraisal of all Engineering Technicians under his responsibility.
- 1.23 Ensures that all the hotel standards, that is, technical specifications and correct operational and safety procedures are applied at all times.
- 2.1 Acts as Shift Engineer as necessary and required
- 2.2 Act as the Engineering Director (OIC) or the Assistant Director of Engineering (OIC) as necessary and required
- 2.3 Maintenance Manager is expected to be a hands-on manager as necessary and required
- 3 Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Engineering and Top Management
