Job Summary:The Maintenance Engineer prepares daily plan of off-line works, inspection and corrective maintenance activities and ensures the effective implementation of maintenance plan.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans and schedules preventive maintenance of equipment
- Monitors project and requests by other departments
Documents equipment vulnerability/reliability studies and equipment improvements- Suggests modification of instruments at mill line
Ensures the availability and maintains a record of spares parts and consumables
- Prepares the purchase requisition (PR) of required spare parts and consumables
Monitors expenditures, spare parts and consumable usage- Assists the Electrical Staff Engineer in budget preparation and cost monitoring
Ensures the supervision of staff belonging to the department or section
- Plans work activities for the department or section
Ensures the preparation, checking, consolidation and submission of work-related reports- Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time
A graduate of a Bachelor's/College degree in Mechanical Engineering- Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer
