Mainframe Analysts

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing mainframe applications, working with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze and understand complex business requirements
• Design and develop mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2
• Perform testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality and reliable software
• Provide technical support and maintenance of mainframe applications
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mainframe development

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in mainframe development and analysis
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2
• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the financial or banking industry is a plus
