- Has at least 2 years of experience in machine shop
- Knowledgeable on the use of lathe and milling machine
- Knowledgeable on the use of precision measuring tools (i.e. outside micrometer, inside micrometer, bore gauge, caliper, and dial gauge)
- Has acquired a background on drafting mechanical parts
