- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets-up and OPERATES Turret Punch Press (TPP) machine.
Prepare nesting and CAM program to be used for TPP operation using AP100 software.
Coordinates with engineering about updates on DXF files.
Conducts & records daily maintenance activity based on checklist.
Ensures correct DXF and drawings are used. Ensures correct material and thickness.
Ensures that correct tools, including die clearance, are used.
Inspects and records outside dimension and hole dimensions after cutting THEN adjust if necessary based on standard. Ensure acceptable level of burrs/ dross.
Maximizes material usage during programming/ nesting.
Efficiently uses remnant materials before using new materials. Keeps remnant materials properly.
Ensures no tool breakage & machine breakdown due to wrong set-up.
Completes laser/tpp schedule as planned. Completes urgent items as instructed
Conducts daily updating of usage and inventory for materials. Receives & inspects incoming materials.
Conducts checking of punch and die sharpness. Grinds tools accordingly.
Keeps TPP tools in an organize manner. Prepares request for replacement of used-up/ worn-out tools.
Complies to all company and departmental policies and memos. Follows proper and on-time filing of leave. Observe proper wearing of uniform and PPEs and follows safety protocols.
Participates in the implementation of 5S in the work station & complies with safety & ISO standards.
Properly fills out Kanban or Prodn Routing Sheet. Consistently conducts proper reporting in VISION.
Attends scheduled training and other company sponsored activities.
Immediately reports to production heads any abnormal condition.
Qualifications:
Education: For entry level, must be graduate of any technical or engineering course or NC Certification from Technical School. Must have high numerical aptitude.
Experience: Equivalent years of experience in Sheetmetal Manufacturing, specifically with background in NC/ CNC Programing and Machining.
Interpretation of drawings to identify processes, tools & equipment and materials to be used.
With strong sense of responsibility, maturity & professionalism
Self-disciplined and can easily follow instructions.
Dynamic, flexible and eager to learn new skills
