Machine Learning Manager

Responsibilities How you will do this

• Lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists.
• Develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models, such as recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address opportunities for machine learning solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning projects, from data collection to model deployment.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in machine learning.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

To be successful, you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, R, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with recommendation systems.
• Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in industries leveraging machine learning (e.g., e-commerce, streaming services, finance).
• Expertise in recommendation algorithms (e.g., content-based filtering, hybrid models, neural networks).
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and large-scale data handling.
• Familiarity with advanced machine learning techniques, such as deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale machine learning projects.
• Experience with MLOps and CI/CD processes.
