Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

To lead, manage and supervise the Expediting function team and to ensure all post PO activities are carried out in a timely, efficient and compliant manner
  • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and mentor the expediting team and monitor workload distribution to ensure all post PO activities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner

Develop and maintain key performance indicators to track and monitor delivery performance of suppliers.

Prepare periodic reports for clients/management as per contractual requirements to ensure all parties are up to date on progress gainst KPIs

Monitor internal procurement systems and processes for compliance across the company

Ensure Suppliers adhere to Company requirements, shipping documents, customs formalities, packing instructions

Handle correspondence concerning shipments, delivery, material quality & quantity and report any concerns to the relevant parties in a timely manner

Take necessary measures to maintain zero accident target and minimise operational costs

Lead by example to ensure the team members adhere to company policies and performance standards

Provide support, advice and direction to team members and monitor performance for achievement of KPIs

Continually look for opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements to drive efficiencies across the procurement function

Adhere to the regulatory standards and guidelines to ensure HSE remains top priority and there is no adverse implications on people and environment caused by the operational activities

Weekly Reprorting Internal / External (PO progress)

Montor On Time Deliver of Supplier v's Customer Commitment Date

  • QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience required
  • Knowledge of contracting & procurement processes
Knowledge of logistics, Inco terms, contractual terms
  • Competent in use of MS office applications
