Job Overview:As a Logistics Supervisor with a focus on outbound logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of finished goods to our customers, both
domestically and internationally. You will oversee the management of the finished goods warehouse, handle logistics customer services, and coordinate product order delivery. Additionally, you will manage relationships with third-party service providers to ensure seamless operations. Your goal is to enhance the customer experience by optimizing logistics processes and maintaining high standards of service.
- Finished Goods Warehouse Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the finished goods warehouse.- Ensure accurate inventory management and control.
Implement efficient warehousing processes and practices.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the warehouse.
- Logistics Customer Services Management:
Ensure logistics-related customer inquiries and concerns are addressed.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with customers regarding order status and delivery.
Resolve any logistics-related issues or discrepancies to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Product Order Delivery Management:
Plan and oversee the scheduling and dispatch of outbound deliveries.- Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Monitor delivery performance and implement improvements to meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate with the production team to align delivery schedules with production output.
- Managing Third-Party Service Providers:
Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring adherence to service agreements.
- Negotiate and monitor contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
Evaluate and select third-party providers based on performance and reliability.- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of third-party services to ensure continuous improvement.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent- At least 5 years of experience in Logistics and Warehouse Management
Understanding of international shipping regulations, customs processes, and documentation requirements.
- Background in SAP or similar ERP/Logistics software is an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle logistics challenges and emergencies.- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Ability to analyze logistics data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
