JOB SUMMARY:To lead, manage and supervise the Expediting function team and to ensure all post PO activities are carried out in a timely, efficient and compliant manner
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor the expediting team and monitor workload distribution to ensure all post PO activities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators to track and monitor delivery performance of suppliers.
Prepare periodic reports for clients/management as per contractual requirements to ensure all parties are up to date on progress gainst KPIs- Monitor internal procurement systems and processes for compliance across the company
Ensure Suppliers adhere to Company requirements, shipping documents, customs formalities, packing instructions
- Handle correspondence concerning shipments, delivery, material quality & quantity and report any concerns to the relevant parties in a timely manner
Take necessary measures to maintain zero accident target and minimise operational costs- Lead by example to ensure the team members adhere to company policies and performance standards
Provide support, advice and direction to team members and monitor performance for achievement of KPIs
- Continually look for opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements to drive efficiencies across the procurement function
Weekly Reprorting Internal / External (PO progress)- Montor On Time Deliver of Supplier v's Customer Commitment Date
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience required- Knowledge of contracting & procurement processes
Knowledge of logistics, Inco terms, contractual terms
- Competent in use of MS office applications
