Job Description:The Logistics Personnel is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of products within the warehouse. This role involves managing inventory, preparing orders, ensuring the safe and organized storage of goods, and supporting the overall logistics operations. The Warehouse Specialist plays a crucial part in maintaining high levels of productivity, accuracy, and safety within the warehouse.
- Duties and Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
Accurately record inventory transactions in the warehouse management system.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
Ensure all orders are accurately and efficiently processed and shipped on time.
Use warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and organize products.
- Storage and Organization:
Ensure products are stored in the correct locations and in an organized manner.
Maintain clean and orderly warehouse areas.
Implement and follow proper storage procedures to prevent damage or loss of goods.
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including loading, and unloading trucks.
Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packing lists.
Inspect products for defects, damages, or discrepancies.
Report any quality issues to the Supply Chain Department Manager.
Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
Comply with company policies and regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Communication and Coordination:
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Supply Chain Department Manager.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management software.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) safely.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which may involve varying temperatures and conditions.

The role may require working shifts, including evenings, and events, based on operational needs.
The position may involve occasional overtime to meet deadlines and ensure efficient warehouse operations.
