Job Description- Perform all logistics activities and related systems information in a manufacturing environment.
- Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services; material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products from place of origin to point of delivery, third-party warehousing, and import/export and domestic activities.
- Develops and implements logistics plans and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints.
- Provides financial reporting and record keeping of all logistics documents.
- Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments.
- Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance, Facilility, QA/QC personnel to optimize systems and procedures.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel (when applicable) to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Review freight cost and recommend cost saving projects.
- Qualifications
- A graduate of BS Industrial Engineering, BSBA major in Logistics Management or any business related courses
- Three (3) years of working experience in Logistics Management, Import and Export, Distribution, Trade compliance
- Competencies
- Understanding Supply Chain (Logistics Import, Export, and domestic)
- Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries
- Tracking the progress of shipments all shipments (import, export, domestic)
- Understanding the international commercial terms
- Advance proficiency in MS Office 365 applications, including Excel including pivot tables with simplex to complex excel formulas, Word, PowerPoint, and utilization of MS Teams
- Strong knowledge of PEZA and Customs regulations, policies, and trade compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
