JOB DESCRIPTION- Duties and Responsibilities:
- GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: The Supply Chain/Logistics Officer shall mainly be responsible on optimizing the supply chain network, improving operational efficiency, and managing logistics, rendering the following duties and responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services
- Monitoring inventory levels and implementing inventory management techniques to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Analyzing demand and supply patterns, forecasting future requirements, and developing procurement plans accordingly
- Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and delivery performance
- Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers and managing supplier relationships
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination across the supply chain.
- Implementing and utilizing supply chain management software and systems to track and manage inventory, logistics, and procurement activities.
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Identifying hand mitigate supply chain risks and developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity
- Staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to supply chain management
- A graduate of Business Administration major in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or any related field
- At least 3 years experience as Logistics/Supply Chain Officer
- Experience in Heavy Equipment or Automotive industry is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of best practices in logistics
-Technological capabilities to use logistics software easily
-Ability to prepare reports using collected data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
