DISTRIBUTION CENTER / WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Job Qualifications
- Meaningful (min. 3 years) experience in DC operations (inbound, storage, dispatch, distribution and quality management)
- Multi-product, multi-category merchandise items
- Experience in managing teams and 3P partners (warehouse operations, truckers)
- Directly responsible and accountable for managing costs (DC costs, cost to serve, losses and variances)
- Strong business ethics, no adverse findings in background check
- Good sense of organization and order, familiar with WM systems, comfortable with numbers and contracts
Responsibilities
- Set up proper demand planning and forecasting
- Identify gaps in supply planning
- Create and manage overall demand/supply plans
- Do strategic planning to achieve cost effective operations and high customer service level
- Manage the financial performance
- Plan and manage warehouse space capacity and ensure maximum utilization
- Manage inventory and expiry of raw materials
- Analyze supply chain and determine minimum safety stock, and risk mitigation
- Provide long term and short term planning scenarios
