Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor US Logistics operations on a BPO support capacity.
Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.- Handle the customer's inquiry regarding shipment, tracking and delivery status.
Provide regular communication with the logistics coordinator team in US stations.
- Enrich shipment and consol in CW.
Direct day to day order processes, including timelines, quality, proof approvals, shipping, and tracking.- Manage order scope changes including updating PO's, sending revised sailing schedules and gaining client approval on changes.
Proactively manage order milestones and provide solutions to issues.
- Inform Supervisor of any potential issues with shipments and workload
Reporting as required- Provide outstanding customer service in handling issue resolution and customer escalations.
Achieve individual performance metrics and measurements.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism when interacting with US logistics employees and clients.
Post Intercompany Invoices in Cargowise.- Request update of customer, vendor and new item code in CW
Sort NYC group email address and forward to specific account or customer logistics counterpart in US.
- Track shipping Line or airline website for status of shipments
Post credit note into the system and offset items.- Assist to create CW1 shipment and Consol File.
File ISF and AMS in CW
- Generate and Send Arrival notice, Delivery Order, Shipping Advise from CW1
Enter and Post Vendor costs.- Updating of shipment milestone and Tracking
Assist in Uploading of all shipping documents into CW1 (HBL, MBL, CI, PKL)
- Enter and post revenue in the CW billing tab.
Generate Invoice and send to customer.- Track and trace of shipments and updating of customers if there are any delays.
Issuance and sending of Departure Notice
- Updating Customer Specific Reports
Update shipment routing leg- Update Order Ref and Purchase order References
Update Customer Account monitoring as required.
- Read and understand Customer SOP, provide input and acknowledge shipments.
Update Customer SOP for any changes and additional information.- Complete other job duties, Customer and projects as maybe assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS in Customs Administration or equivalent business course
- at least 1 year experience in a logistics or supply chain industry or freight forwarding organization and/or with exposure to International Transport Logistics
- Amenable to work in shifting schedule - Graveyard Shift 9pm-6am
- Good inter-personal skills
- Proficient in Excel, word, and Outlook
- Excellent Communication skills both oral and written; Fluent in English
