As a _Logistics Assistant
_, you are expected to perform many duties including managing inbound containers and verifying that they contain the right items. Checks invoices to ensure that service requests have been followed and creates and maintains liaison with suppliers and customers to ensure that shipments are received in an organized manner.- Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock are
delivered
- Signing delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.
Heeding notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when fragile.- Unpacking items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.
Preparing our clients orders by gathering and loading stock.
- Ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized.
Reporting all breakages and spills.- Offering assistance to other staff in the department during lulls in your day.
- What does it take to be part of the team
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Operations Management, Business Management- Knowledgeable and proficient in MS Office.
At least 6 months of working experience in logistics or warehouse.
Ability to efficiently manage time and meet deadlines.- Ability to work under pressure.
