Summary: The Loan Processor will be responsible for managing loan applications and documentation for real estate transactions. This role involves working closely with clients, loan officers, and underwriters to ensure the timely and accurate processing of loan applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of loan processing procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify loan applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other relevant parties to ensure timely processing of loans.
- Conduct preliminary analysis and verification of borrower information, including credit reports, income verification, and employment history.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of loan applications and supporting documentation.
- Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on the status of loan applications.
- Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the loan processing stage.
- Assist in the preparation of loan closing documents and ensure all conditions are met before closing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to loan processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in loan processing, preferably in the real estate and property investment industry.
- Strong knowledge of loan processing procedures, mortgage loans, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Must be able to work from 9 AM to 6 PM Sydney Time, Mondays to Fridays.
