Loan Officer Support (US Client - Hybrid)

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Follow up on loan applications with the borrower(s)
Conduct phone calls and follow up with potential borrowers (preapprovals)
  • Work closely with the Loan Officer to ensure accurate application.
Collect and review borrower financial documentation.
  • Review income/credit/assets
Work with underwriter and client to clear required conditions to get loan to closing.
  • Understanding of loan products, mortgage documents, and regulatory guidelines is desirable.
Check preliminary title documents and balance final fee figures with the title company.
  • Coordinate with internal parties (Loan Originators, Team Leaders) as well as external parties (Lenders, Agents, Title/Attorney, HOI agents) to resolve issues and discrepancies.
Confirm loans meet federal, state, local regulations and investor/agency guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy of closing costs and fees on the Closing Disclosure, aligning with initial disclosures.
Ensure Verbal verification of employment is completed before the scheduled closing date.
  • Send a complete closing package to the settlement agent 24-48 hours before closing.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.
  • Requirements:
At least 2 years experience working as a US loan support officer.
  • Proficient in mortgage lending regulations, to include TRID requirements.
Knowledge of different loan types and closing disclosure requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Has a great sense of urgency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive not reactive
  • Speed and clarity in communication
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change
  • Ability to work in the office twice per week
Working Hours: 10pm - 7am
